In our tests, we observed that the IQ handled pet hair with ease. It was able to remove a large amount of debris on floors that were unfinished, and a fair amount on medium-pile rug. It was less effective on shag carpets. It struggled to get at dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It was able to navigate chair legs, small spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice it was a little slower on floors with no flooring but it quickly recovered and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tested.
The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin, a longer battery life and is better at navigating around obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to handle sticky debris. On the other hand the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and creates virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning from where it left off even if its battery runs out before it's finished. The iRobot can be controlled by voice commands, which is a huge benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum around, but it does offer powerful cleaning capabilities at a low price. This vacuum was designed for budget-conscious consumers who don't require a complicated mapping system, or an app, to control it. This robot will last for up to an hour. It comes with a remote control, cleaning tool, and AC power adapter.
